We offer Pacific Coast Down Comforters, which feature Hyperclean allergy free down. Hyperclean down has been washed and rinsed eight times with biodegradable cleaning agents Pacific Coast has developed over the last century. The harsh chemicals traditionally used to clean down have been replaced with highly effective -- but gentle -- cleaners that leave the down at a neutral pH and provide the maximum long-term strength of Hyperclean down. The dust and dirt has been filtered out of Hyperclean down up to 15 times during processing. Hyperclean Pacific Coast down is four times cleaner than the down found in other comforters that merely meet government standards. Because our down is cleaner, it's allergy free, fluffier, and longer lasting than other brands.
If your Pacific Coast down comforter is used with a duvet cover, you won't need top sheets, blankets, or bedspreads. That means making the bed is just a flip and a fluff! If used with a duvet cover, your Pacific Coast down comforter won't need to be cleaned but every 3 to 5 years. Then, we recommend having it professionally dry cleaned. Down actually washes well, but the size of comforters makes it more sensible to leave cleaning to a professional.
